This one is my favorite though. If you love pumpkin pie, than you have to try this. I swear I’ll never go back and either will you and you and you… 🙂
Here it is:
1-1/2 cups pumpkin (from the can)
1/2 cup of apple butter
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 150z can Evaporated Milk
1 deep dish pie crust (defrosted)
Mix together your sugar and seasoning. Add in the pumpkin and apple butter, stir together. Gently pour in the evaporated milk and combine until nice and smooth with a spoon or spatula. Pour into the crust.
Place in a preheated 425 degree oven for 15 min. Lower heat to 350 and back for another 50 minutes. Pie should puff up like this right before it’s done.
