Amy’s Caprese Pesto Bread (servings: for everyone)

  • Pesto (recipe)
  • fresh mozzarella
  • cherry tomatoes (sliced in half)
  • grated fresh parmesan cheese
  • Italian bread loaf
  • olive oil
  • salt & pepper

First. make sure you are playing some Sinatra. 😉

Then, drizzle about a teaspoon of olive oil into a fry pan. Once heated add in your bread slices face down.

Cut the bread in half.

Spread with a layer of pesto. Then lay down some thin slices of fresh mozzarella. Add the cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle with some salt and pepper. Drizzle over top a tiny bit of olive oil (put your thumb over top of the olive oil bottle). Grate your fresh parmesan over top.
