I finally discovered a way to combine my two favorite things together, melted brie and bread, top it with apple slices and I’m in heaven. ♥
This flat bread is perfect as an appetizer or dessert.
Flat Bread with Melted Brie
- Brie (triangle thinly sliced)
- 1-1/2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Flat bread
- Apple slices
Slice the brie longways with the diagonal. Then slice in half again. In a small baking dish add the brown sugar and butter. Take the slices of brie and layer them. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 7-10 minutes or until golden brown. That was easy. 😉
About half way through heat up several pieces of flat bread directly on an oven rack and set aside.
Once the brie is nice and caramelized pull out of the oven and using a fork spread the brie onto the toasted flat bread. Place the apple slices over the brie and spoon the juices over top.
Slice into quarters and serve. 🙂
This recipe always makes me feel like a queen! ♥
