My Cheddar Apple Mac and Cheese…

I love dipping apples in a cheddar fondue so I thought why not put it into a mac & cheese. The crunch of the granny smith apple with creamy macaroni is amazing! I am very excited to share this recipe with you. ūüôā

Cheddar Apple Mac

  • elbow macaroni
  • sharp cheddar shredded cheese
  • whipping cream
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • tabasco
  • onion
  • granny smith apple finely diced
  • garlic clove minced
  • butter

To begin, saute some onion in tablespoon of butter. Once the onion is golden brown add in the minced garlic for another minute until fragrant.

Pour in about a cup or so of whipping cream and stir. Bring to a slight boil then turn down the heat.

Next, add a few handfuls of shredded cheese until it turns a nice golden-yellow color. Add in a few shakes of Worcestershire sauce and then add a few drops of tabasco. Season with a little bit of salt and stir into the cheese.

Next add in some of the diced apple into the cheddar cheese sauce.

Then stir in the macaroni and serve.

Garnish with fresh apple…

Bon Appétit!

Love,

Miss Amy
