It’s apple season again and the perfect time to make my famous apple butter! This is great on popovers, croissants, toast, or served with warm brie. You can even combine with whipped cream cheese to make an awesome Fall dip!
You can combine a variety of apples so it’s perfect if you just went apple picking and want to create your own unique recipe.
This recipe calls for 6 apples, which makes about a jar and a half. If you want to make more jars to give to your friends for the holidays, I would double or triple the recipe. The more apples, the longer the cook time, but it shouldn’t take more than 6 hours.
