You will not be missing the carbs with this dish. It is simple, easy, and absolutely divine! All you have to do is slice the squash in half, scoop out the seeds, (save those for later) and spoon in some brown sugar with a tablespoon of butter. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and grate some fresh nutmeg. Place on a baking sheet in a preheated 375 degree oven for 30 minutes. Take out of the oven and spoon the butter mixture over the squash to moisten. Cook for another 20 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil, then dig in with a spoon.
