This recipe is bomb diggity! The hummus is so creamy and fresh. I just had hummus that was the same smooth consistency in a 5-star restaurant and it was served with garlic toasts – delicious!
– 1 16oz can of organic garbanzo beans
– 1/4 cup tahini
– 1/2 of a juicy lemon
– 2-3 garlic cloves
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
In a food processor add the following ingredients. If you like your hummus super creamy and a little wet don’t drain the garbanzo beans. If would like it a little thicker drain 1/2 of the liquid out and if you like it thick completely drain. For those garlic lovers out there add 3 cloves.
Blend until super smooth and creamy pulsing until those tiny bits of garbanzo beans are dissolved.
Place in fridge to chill. Serve with your favorite dippers, pita triangles or if you want to get fancy, some garlic toasts.
